Automotive Electrician – Heavy Vehicle (NSW)

About the role

A client of Just Automotive Recruitment, Tefol Pty Ltd, which supplies specialist products and services to the mining, transport and civil industries, is hiring two full-time Auto Electrician positions in NSW. The work covers service, repair and electrical fit-out of commercial vehicles and trailers.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately note and complete service repair orders
• Carry out service and repairs according to manufacturer specifications
• Complete electrical fit-out for new vehicle and trailer builds
• Attend electrical breakdowns when required
• Maintain EBS brake systems
• Ensure all installations, service and repairs are documented and meet quality standards

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar role working on commercial vehicles
• Trade qualification in Auto Electrician
• Valid driver's licence; a valid forklift licence is preferred but not essential
• Ability to travel to various locations when needed
• Self-motivated, professional and able to work unsupervised

Required skills

• Knowledge of modern heavy vehicle and trailer electrical and electronic systems
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems
• Experience with heavy vehicles is highly regarded

What we offer

• Two full-time positions available
• Salary of $70,000-$85,000 per annum depending on experience
