Automotive Electrician – Full-Time Positions Available

About the role

A recruiter representing its client, ARB Mildura (Whitworth Trading Trust), which specialises in improving 4-wheel drive experiences and custom work vehicle requirements, is looking for qualified auto electricians for two full-time positions. The work is based in Victoria, Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately note and complete service repair orders.
• Carry out service and repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
• Complete electrical fit-outs for new vehicle and trailer builds.
• Attend electrical breakdowns when required.
• Maintain EBS brake systems.
• Ensure all installations, services and repairs are documented and meet quality standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar role working on commercial vehicles.
• Trade qualification in Auto Electrician.
• Valid driver's licence; a valid forklift licence is preferred but not essential.
• Willingness to travel to various locations when needed.
• Self-motivated, professional and able to work unsupervised.

Required skills

• Knowledge of modern heavy vehicle and trailer electrical and electronic systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems.
• Experience with heavy vehicles is highly regarded.

What we offer

• Two full-time positions available.
• Pay of $70,000 to $85,000 per annum depending on experience.
