Associate & Senior Associate - Wills & Estate

About the role

HWL Ebsworth, a large legal partnership in Australia, has two openings for Associate and Senior Associate positions in its Sydney Wills and Estates practice group, led by partners Guy Moloney and Josephine Pignataro. You will work on a broad mix of estate planning, estate litigation and estate administration, including complex matters involving high net worth individuals, within a close-knit team.

Key responsibilities

• Handle the full suite of Wills and Estates law, with an emphasis on complex estate planning, working closely with the partner and other team members.
• Work on allied areas such as difficult estate administrations, high-end estate litigation and trust work.
• Receive mentorship in allied areas of law such as tax, corporate law and family law related to estate and Wills work.

Required profile

• 4+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) with a focus on estate planning, wills and trusts.
• Able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Aptitude for direct interaction with clients.
• Good drafting skills with attention to detail.
• Full working rights in Australia and a valid practising certificate.
