Associate / Senior Associate - Wills and Estates

About the role

A large, top-tier Australian law firm is recruiting two Associates / Senior Associates for its Wills and Estates practice in Sydney. The roles were created due to growth and suit ambitious lawyers who want to progress within a close-knit specialist team. The team handles complex matters for high-net-worth individuals and families, covering estate planning, estate litigation and estate administration, and successful candidates will work closely with the Partners.

Key responsibilities

• The full range of Wills and Estates work, with a focus on complex estate planning
• Challenging estate administrations, high-end estate litigation and trust matters
• Mentoring in related areas, including tax, corporate and family law

Required profile

• 4+ years' PQE with a focus on estate planning, wills and trusts
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Confidence dealing directly with clients

• Strong drafting skills
• Closely attention to detail
