Associate / Senior Associate – Projects & Construction

About the role

Join a leading national law firm’s Construction & Infrastructure practice, advising prominent clients on major projects across Australia. This position offers the chance to work on both front‑end advisory and back‑end dispute matters while developing autonomy and leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advice on a broad range of construction and infrastructure matters, from project advisory to dispute resolution.
• Manage day‑to‑day matter administration, evidence gathering and client meetings.
• Lead matters, develop client relationships and mentor junior team members.
• Collaborate closely with senior practitioners to deliver practical construction law solutions.

Required profile

• At least 3 years post‑admission experience in construction law, covering front‑end, back‑end or both.
• Strong commercial acumen, critical thinking and well‑developed analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence to lead matters, build trusted client relationships and support junior colleagues.
