Associate, Real Estate

About the role

Clifford Chance is hiring an Associate for its Corporate Real Estate team in Sydney. The Associate provides legal advice and support to a diverse range of clients on real estate transactions and related matters, and supports senior lawyers and partners on complex transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on a broad range of real estate matters, including acquisitions, disposals, leasing and property development
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, leases and other legal documents
• Conduct due diligence and assist with transaction management
• Liaise with clients, counterparties and other stakeholders
• Support senior lawyers and partners in managing large-scale transactions
• Keep up to date with relevant legal developments and market trends
• Assist with business development initiatives and client relationship management

Required profile

• Qualified to practise as a solicitor in Australia
• 2-4 years' post-qualification experience in corporate real estate law
• Experience in handling real estate transactions
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently, with high attention to detail and strong organisational skills
