Associate Nurse Unit Manager - Fertility Clinic

About the role

Genea, a fertility clinic, is looking for an Associate Fertility Nurse Unit Manager to lead a small team within its Heidelberg and East Melbourne team. An experienced Fertility Nurse Coordinator is also considered. The role involves assisting in the clinical leadership of the nursing team, driving engagement and developing a team eager to learn and grow.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and support the nursing team, fostering clinical excellence and professional development
• Provide hands-on clinical care and expert guidance in complex or escalated situations
• Ensure safe, compassionate and personalised patient care
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Fertility Specialists and visiting doctors
• Facilitate collaboration between departments to tailor treatment plans for each patient
• Oversee quality assurance initiatives and compliance with clinical standards

Required profile

• AHPRA-registered nurse with experience in fertility, women's health or a related field
• Proven ability to manage both clinical teams and operational functions
• Skilled in building strong doctor relationships and engaging teams
