About the role
The role sits within the Industrials/Sponsors team of a leading global investment bank, providing a front‑row seat across the full deal lifecycle for industrial, healthcare and consumer clients.
Key responsibilities
- Execute M&A, capital raising and strategic advisory mandates, taking ownership of live transactions and client coverage initiatives.
- Work directly with senior bankers on marquee sponsor‑backed and corporate deals across Australia.
- Collaborate closely with private‑equity sponsors, portfolio companies and listed corporates throughout the transaction process.
- Help shape the next generation of junior talent within the team.
Required profile
- 3‑6 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance or a top‑tier advisory platform.
- Proven track record executing M&A and capital markets transactions.
- Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities.
- Experience in Industrials, diversified corporates or sponsor‑led deals is a plus.
