Associate Engineer

About the role

Moog offers a performance‑driven culture where engineers solve challenging technical problems. The Associate Engineer role is a casual position supporting the engineering design team in developing, testing and sustaining new and existing products.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute engineering projects that support the Moog Australia technology roadmap.
• Work with development/product engineers to assist in the development, integration and test of new and existing products.
• Design or select components based on engineering specifications.
• Develop and implement test equipment hardware and software for production and developmental hardware.
• Manage developmental product BOM in the engineering PLM system and transition parts to the manufacturing ERP system.

Required profile

• Third‑year student of a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics or similar) or recent graduate.
• Relevant experience such as internships or similar roles is advantageous.
• Experience in mechatronics systems integration, incorporating mechanical, electrical and software components.
• Australian citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain an Australian security clearance and ITAR compliance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD tools, e.g., NX or SolidWorks.
• Modelling and simulation experience.
• Software development experience.
• Mechatronics systems integration expertise.
