Associate Electrical Engineer (Building Services)

About the role

A Tier One multidisciplinary consultancy in Brisbane is seeking an Associate-level Building Services Electrical Engineer to join its 18-strong electrical team. The client has around 2,000 staff nationally and close to 70 in the Brisbane Buildings team, covering every discipline. The vacancy calls for senior leadership in the team, and candidates with the skills to step straight up to Associate Director level will also be considered.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, RPEQ or eligible
• At least 8 years of building services design and project experience
• Experience as a project lead on large, complex building services projects, either in a single discipline or smaller multidisciplinary projects
• Confidence in running meetings, managing client expectations and building relationships that bring repeat work
• Genuine interest in mentoring engineers, reviewing their work and raising the technical standard of the team
