Project Manager - Civil Subdivision & Infrastructure

About the role

A long-established, family-owned civil contractor is looking for a Project Manager based in South Brisbane to lead complex civil projects across Queensland. The role covers a wide range of subdivision and infrastructure works, with regular travel to project sites. It is described as a permanent position with an attractive salary package and a vehicle.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver civil subdivision and infrastructure projects from award through to completion
• Lead project teams to achieve strong safety, quality and commercial outcomes
• Manage budgets, forecasting, procurement and contract administration
• Build relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors
• Drive project performance, innovation and continuous improvement

Required profile

• Civil Engineering degree, with proven project management experience in civil construction
• Subdivision experience highly regarded
• Collaborative leadership style and clear communication skills
• Organised, able to prioritise competing deadlines
• Sound understanding of WHS, environmental and quality requirements in civil construction
• Current driver's licence and White Card
