Associate Drafter – Dams & Hydropower

About the role

We are looking for an Associate Drafter – Dams & Hydropower to develop and produce design deliverables for major dam and hydropower projects across Australia. The role will be based in our Brisbane office (with collaboration across Sydney and Melbourne) and requires extensive civil design experience.

Key responsibilities

• Produce high‑quality design drawings for dams, hydropower and related infrastructure.
• Develop and manage project deliverables in line with client requirements.
• Check and review structural drawings and designs for accuracy.
• Apply Australian standards to all civil design work.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on large‑scale ANZ projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of civil design experience on infrastructure projects, preferably dams and hydropower.
• Proven experience using 12D or Civil3D software.
• Ability to review and verify structural drawings.
• Familiarity with Australian civil engineering standards.
• Background in an engineering design consultancy.
