About the role

The Associate Director, Fraud & Anti‑Bribery & Anti‑Corruption (Institutional) leads risk management for ANZ's Institutional division. You will ensure compliance with regulatory obligations, embed robust fraud and ABAC controls, and support business units across Australia and offshore.

Key responsibilities

• Lead ABAC and fraud risk management across business processes, products and value chains.
• Translate complex regulatory requirements into practical, business‑focused solutions.
• Embed risk requirements into efficient, customer‑centric processes and support policy change initiatives.
• Partner with stakeholders to design, strengthen and implement effective controls aligned with enterprise frameworks.
• Identify emerging risks, control gaps and drive remediation activities.
• Provide risk insights, data analysis and reporting to support governance and decision‑making.

Required profile

• Significant experience in financial crime, fraud or anti‑bribery risk within a banking environment.
• Strong understanding of regulatory obligations and enterprise risk management standards.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
