Associate Director – Business Development & Program Set-Up (Advisory)

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Director to lead business development and program set‑up within its Advisory practice in NSW. The role involves driving client engagement, building a pipeline of advisory services, and supporting multidisciplinary teams across Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Support NSW advisory team leadership by providing technical consulting and multidisciplinary support.
• Build, maintain and win a pipeline of advisory and consulting services for new and existing clients.
• Act as day‑to‑day management consultant ensuring projects meet client objectives, time, cost and quality targets.
• Produce clear, concise client‑facing reports and deliverables that demonstrate value.
• Assist in building and managing the advisory/consulting team in NSW and ANZ.

Required profile

• Minimum 8+ years consulting and advisory experience.
• University degree in Program Management, Project Management, Engineering, Business or Economics.
• Experience delivering capital projects, programs or portfolios.
• Strong collaborative ability within multidisciplinary consultancy teams.
• Client‑focused, service‑oriented with excellent communication and organisational skills.

Required skills

• PMP certification (desired).
• PRINCE2 certification (desired).
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (desired).
