Assistant Coordinator (Part‑time)

About the role

Join the Outside School Hours Care service in Melton South and gain meaningful leadership experience. Working closely with an experienced Coordinator, you will step into leadership, develop Responsible Person capabilities, and help shape the future success of the service.

Key responsibilities

• Help lead and mentor a passionate team of Educators onsite.
• Become RP (Responsible Person) trained and support compliance.
• Manage rosters, service operations, and administration.
• Create child‑led programs including STEM, cooking, sport, art and craft.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, schools and the wider community.

Required profile

• Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (covered by employer).
• State working‑with‑children check and Australian working rights.
• National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding.
• VIC Diploma‑Level or working towards a relevant qualification to work as a Diploma‑level Educator.
