Assistant Brand Manager – Flexible Hybrid Role

About the role

Join Kraft Heinz as an Assistant Brand Manager in the ‘Away From Home & Export’ team, based in Melbourne with a hybrid work arrangement (3 days in office, 2 days remote). This permanent position offers a collaborative environment to grow your brand management career.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and collaborate with the National Sales team to build the annual Sales & Marketing Calendar.
• Translate commercial strategy and customer insights into activation briefs, campaigns and tactical plans.
• Lead major events and trade shows, managing end‑to‑end delivery including budgeting, supplier selection and post‑activity measurement.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (sales, marketing, category, supply chain, finance, NPD) for seamless activation execution.
• Design account‑specific activations and develop promotional frameworks across various channels.
• Manage the Marketing budget with HO Channel Development and track performance against KPIs.
• Create activation assets and commercial materials for AFH & Export.
• Maintain compliance with commercial policies, pricing agreements, legal and brand guidelines.

Required profile

• Experience managing supplier/agency relationships and basic contract discussions.
• Proven ability to track results against KPIs and report campaign outcomes.
• Strong project management and organisational skills to handle multistage activations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for creating briefs and presentation materials.
• Solid stakeholder management with national sales, category, NPD and external suppliers.
• Commercial awareness of sales uplift, ROI logic and promotional impacts.
• Eligibility to work in Australia or New Zealand with full working rights.
