Sensory Specialist

About the role

The Sensory Specialist will join Kraft Heinz's Marketing team in Freshwater on a part‑time, fixed‑term contract until the end of 2026. You will lead sensory studies, work with cross‑functional partners, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute sensory studies, including descriptive analysis and product evaluation.
• Lead sensory panels, handling session planning, setup, facilitation, and protocol compliance.
• Partner with brand, R&D and other stakeholders to define project goals and align sensory approaches.
• Analyze and interpret sensory data, preparing summaries, tables, charts and presentations.
• Monitor panel and data quality, applying statistical controls and corrective actions.

Required profile

• Experience in sensory science, sensory research or related consumer insights work.
• Strong analytical capability and ability to translate data into clear recommendations.
• Project‑management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Psychology or a related field, preferably with a focus on Sensory and Consumer Science.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
