Assistant Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Accountant to support our Finance team with day‑to‑day accounting and administrative tasks, focusing on invoice processing, payments, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Process and record supplier invoices and employee expenses.
• Check invoices and supporting documents before processing payments.
• Prepare and process payments to vendors and suppliers.
• Perform basic bank and account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents.
• Assist with monthly financial closing and reporting.
• Follow up on outstanding invoices and payments.
• Support the Finance team with general accounting and administrative tasks.
• Assist with audit documentation when required.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 1 to 2 years of accounting or finance experience (fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, invoices, AP, and AR.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working with an international team in different time zones.
