Asphalt Plant Operator – Road Surfacing

About the role

Join Boral Asphalt as an Asphalt Plant Operator in Williamstown, reporting to the Foreman. You will operate mobile construction equipment for road surfacing and perform general hand‑labouring tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate asphalt mobile plant equipment.
• Participate in site safety and business improvement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with Boral OH&S policies and environmental standards.
• Contribute to crew tasks to deliver quality products in a safe environment.
• Maintain company trucks and plant equipment.

Required profile

• Strong commitment to safety, environment and customer focus.
• Positive attitude, reliability and teamwork orientation.
• Experience in an asphalt crew or civil construction environment.
• Flexibility to work across a 24/7 operation, including weekends and night shifts.

Required skills

• Operate asphalt mobile plant equipment.
• Current Heavy Vehicle driver's licence (or equivalent).
• Mobile Equipment National Competency (or similar certification).
