Area Sales Manager (East Victoria & Tasmania)

About the role

We are seeking an energetic Area Sales Manager to cover East Victoria and Tasmania for a leading sporting goods brand. This permanent, remote‑based position involves managing existing accounts, acquiring new customers, and representing the brand at events while travelling regularly across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow the portfolio of accounts within East Victoria and Tasmania.
• Identify, evaluate and acquire new business opportunities.
• Handle the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
• Provide daily activity reports through the CRM system.
• Attend conferences, expos and other industry events as required.
• Monitor competitor activity and relay market insights.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge and communicate brand values to customers.
• Achieve sales budgets, forecasts and target indent volumes.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of on‑road sales experience in sports or FMCG.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Comfortable with regular travel and occasional weekend work.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems for activity tracking.
