Area Manager – Print on Demand Operations

About the role

Amazon is looking for an experienced Area Manager to lead the Print on Demand (POD) facility within its Fulfillment Center in Moorebank. You will be responsible for ensuring customer orders are delivered on time, maintaining safety, quality and performance standards while motivating a large hourly workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate the hourly team, driving continuous improvement in safety, productivity, quality and associate experience.
• Become a subject‑matter expert on POD processes and manage scrap reduction initiatives.
• Maintain health and safety standards and promote a safety culture on‑site.
• Collaborate with support functions such as Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR and POD Global to meet business objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Proven experience in operations, supply chain or logistics, with prior managerial responsibility for sizable teams.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities, capable of conducting deep dive analyses on complex processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Ability to push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds during shifts.
