Area Manager - Darwin

About the role

SKG Services is looking for an experienced and motivated Area Manager (Area Cleaning Supervisor) to oversee cleaning operations across multiple sites in Darwin. The role involves leading frontline teams, building strong client relationships and ensuring high-quality service delivery. It suits someone with operations or customer service experience, ideally in cleaning or facilities management, who can travel between sites.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for clients, managing communication, feedback and relationship development
• Oversee daily cleaning operations across multiple sites, ensuring service quality and contract compliance
• Lead and manage cleaning teams, including rostering, training and performance monitoring
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure adherence to WHS, safety and quality standards
• Manage resources, including supply orders, service schedules and coordination of additional cleaning services
• Maintain accurate operational records, including site audits, incidents and client feedback reports

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in customer service or operations management, ideally in cleaning or facilities management
• Proven leadership and people management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Track record of building positive client relationships and resolving issues
• Proactive, solutions-oriented and highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Valid driver's licence and flexibility to travel between sites
