Architect / Designer (5–10 years experience)

About the role

Woods Bagot is seeking an Architect / Designer to join its multidisciplinary team. This position offers career growth through ownership of key components on mid‑ to large‑scale projects while working closely with senior architects.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Principal‑in‑Charge to develop design concepts and resolve complex design challenges.
• Act as second‑in‑charge to the Project Leader during design development and delivery, managing defined project packages.
• Communicate design intent through sketches, diagrams, 3D vignettes, and technical drawings.
• Prepare project outputs such as design reports, planning submissions, and comprehensive documentation packages.
• Coordinate with external consultants and designers, cross‑checking drawings and Revit models and resolving coordination issues.
• Monitor project risks, mitigate issues proactively, and escalate when necessary.
• Support the Project Leader to maintain high‑quality delivery outcomes.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of professional experience in an architectural practice.
• Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Experience in residential and mixed‑use projects; broader typologies are a plus.
• Architect registration is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Revit.
• Strong 3D modelling and visualization abilities.
• Technical drawing and documentation skills.
• Design development and coordination expertise.
