Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – Mechanical (Permanent)

About the role

Join the CH-47F (Chinook) Maintenance and Logistics Support Program at the Army Aviation Centre in Oakey, Queensland, supporting the Republic of Singapore Air Force. As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer you will be hands‑on with maintenance, modifications, servicing, inspections, testing and fault‑finding on aircraft systems.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the MRO team to ensure efficient task completion.
• Maintain compliance with DASR Part 145 MOE regulations.
• Coordinate communication with Boeing, customers and industry teams.
• Apply Quality Assurance procedures, maintenance/modification operating procedures and thorough documentation.
• Promote a positive Environmental Health & Safety culture.

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical).
• Australian citizenship to meet Defence security requirements.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Willingness to travel and work away from home as required.

Required skills

• Aircraft maintenance, modification and servicing.
• Inspections, testing and fault‑finding on aircraft systems.
• Knowledge of DASR Part 145 regulations and QA procedures.
