About the role
MYOB, a business management software company serving Australia and New Zealand, is building its future with AI at the centre. It is looking for an AI Portfolio Delivery Manager who removes blockers, turns complexity into transparency and accelerates value at scale. Reporting to the General Manager of Data and AI, you will set and run the AI delivery operating model across products and platforms, turning strategy into shipped outcomes while balancing speed with reliability, security and cost guardrails.
Key responsibilities
- Own and evolve the AI portfolio delivery model to improve time-to-first-value
- Lead cross-team planning with senior Product and Technology leaders, aligning priorities and sequencing critical work
- Use AI and automation to improve planning, surface dependencies, analyse flow and help teams make faster decisions
- Handle dependencies and flow, exposing bottlenecks and improving decision speed
- Embed lightweight governance and guardrails to enable fast, safe delivery
- Partner with Architecture and Security to align delivery to target state and secure-by-design patterns
- Challenge roadmaps and keep plans executable so engineering focus is protected
- Drive rapid AI experimentation and learning from idea to production
Required profile
- Proven experience in portfolio or program delivery leadership in a SaaS or high-growth tech organisation
- Experience delivering AI/ML capabilities from experimentation into production, with a practical understanding of evaluation, data dependencies, guardrails and non-deterministic systems
- Strong enterprise agile leadership and experience in mentoring
- Track record of building operating models and managing complex dependencies at scale
- Outstanding collaborator who drives engagement and influence without authority
- Consulting background and modern delivery tooling experience highly valued
