About the role

nbn is offering a 2-year fixed-term opportunity for a Senior Expert, Data and AI Business Solutions, reporting to the General Manager, Business Solutions and Strategic Enablement. The role works with teams across nbn to identify, shape and progress high-value data, analytics and AI opportunities, and to build strong relationships across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with teams across nbn to identify, shape and progress high-value data, analytics and AI opportunities.
• Translate priorities and challenges into practical, decision-ready concepts and bring together the right expertise to assess value, feasibility and solution options.
• Maintain visibility of the opportunity pipeline, support prioritisation and the delivery pathway, and stay connected through delivery to address blockers and keep focus on business outcomes.
• Inform broader enterprise capability roadmaps.

Required profile

• Experience in data, analytics, AI, strategy or digital transformation.
• Ability to turn business challenges into practical solutions, strategies and roadmaps.
• Collaborative approach with business leaders and technical specialists, using clear communication, structured problem solving and sound commercial judgement.
• Experience with data products, governance, human-centred design or complex regulated environments is highly regarded.
• Full working rights in Australia; the role is full-time.
