AI Platform Architect

About the role

The AI Platform Architect will lead the design, governance, and evolution of TCS’s enterprise AI platform across Australia. This senior technical leader bridges cutting‑edge AI capabilities such as Microsoft Copilot, Anthropic Claude and AWS Bedrock with complex enterprise integrations spanning SAP, ServiceNow, Databricks, Oracle CC&B and the broader AWS estate.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise AI platform strategy, ensuring alignment with business value and responsible AI principles.
• Architect end‑to‑end solutions that integrate frontier AI models (Copilot, Claude, Bedrock) with core systems (SAP, ServiceNow, Databricks, Oracle CC&B).
• Guide multi‑disciplinary engineering teams through design, code review and delivery phases.
• Provide thought leadership and board‑level communication on AI initiatives, business cases and risk mitigation.
• Maintain security, networking and infrastructure‑as‑code standards using AWS (preferred) and Azure where applicable.

Required profile

• 10–20 years of progressive enterprise technology architecture experience, with at least 5 years focused on AI/ML platform architecture.
• Hands‑on solutioning across at least three of the following: Microsoft Copilot/Copilot Studio, Anthropic Claude, AWS Bedrock, SAP, ServiceNow, Databricks, Oracle CC&B.
• Proven track record delivering AI solutions from proof‑of‑concept to production at scale.
• Strong expertise in cloud architecture (AWS preferred, Azure familiarity valued), including security, networking and IaC (Terraform/CDK).
• Experience in regulated industries (utilities, financial services, healthcare, government) is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate both deep technically (architecture, code review) and broadly at executive level.
