Agitator Driver – Launceston

About the role

Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking a reliable, safety-focused and customer-oriented Agitator Driver for its Concrete team serving Launceston and the surrounding region. The role suits someone who enjoys being on the road, working independently and delivering concrete to residential, commercial, agricultural and infrastructure projects. It is a stable full-time position with training provided and no concrete experience required.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate a concrete agitator truck and deliver concrete to customer sites
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
• Ensure deliveries are safe, efficient and on schedule
• Monitor product quality and assist customers during delivery
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and records
• Communicate with dispatch, batchers and customers
• Keep the vehicle and work area clean and tidy
• Support plant and yard operations when required
• Follow company policies and contribute to the Zero Harm safety culture

Required profile

• Current HR licence or higher
• Experience operating heavy vehicles
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual and dependable; knowledge of the local area is highly regarded
• Concrete industry experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training is provided
