Adviser Solutions Manager – Business Development

About the role

Morningstar is seeking an Adviser Solutions Manager to join its rapidly growing Managed Portfolio sales team in Queensland. Reporting to the Regional Director QLD & WA, you will use a solutions‑based business development approach to deliver investment solutions for financial advisers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve net flow targets and expand the managed portfolio client base.
• Identify, engage and convert new financial adviser opportunities across Queensland.
• Manage the end‑to‑end sales process, from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and onboarding.
• Retain and grow existing client relationships by identifying expansion opportunities.
• Maintain a disciplined sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless client experiences.
• Represent Morningstar at industry events to enhance brand presence and generate leads.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of business development experience in financial services with a proven track record of growth.
• Strong network of relationships with financial advisers in Queensland.
• Deep understanding of the Australian financial advice industry and its business models.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented and able to work independently while collaborating across teams.

Required skills

• Experience using CRM systems and sales management tools.
• Exceptional relationship management, communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
