Administration Assistant – High Risk Serious Offender Unit

About the role

The Administration Assistant provides professional administrative and secretarial support to the High Risk Serious Offender (HRSO) Unit within Adult Community Corrections. Working in a fast‑paced environment with competing priorities, you will ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, type and format a variety of documents, reports and correspondence.
• Screen incoming communications and manage outgoing mail.
• Maintain accurate filing systems and electronic records, ensuring data integrity.
• Enter and track data, monitor correspondence logs, and safeguard confidential information.
• Collaborate with staff across directorates to support organisational objectives and drive continuous improvement.
• Apply discretion and sound judgement when handling sensitive and confidential matters.
