Admin and Customer Service Officer - Defence Logistics

About the role

Toll Group is looking for an experienced Admin and Customer Service Officer to join its Defence Logistics team at Robertson Barracks, Darwin, Northern Territory. The role supports Australia's Defence portfolio in a fast-paced logistics environment, combining accurate data entry, document control, reporting support and frontline customer service to keep warehouse and distribution operations running efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop warehouse teams
• Manage daily operational priorities
• Handle safety leadership and compliance management
• Maintain inventory accuracy and stock governance
• Plan resources and manage rosters
• Deliver performance management and coaching
• Engage customers and stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives

Required profile

• Australian citizenship and eligibility for Defence security clearance
• Previous warehouse or logistics leadership experience
• Previous experience managing, controlling and improving document control systems
• Ability to pass medical and background checks
• Well-organised, able to prioritise in a fast-paced environment, and able to maintain confidentiality

Required skills

• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint)
• Ability to work with ERP and WMS platforms
• Preferred: knowledge of ISO9001 quality management system requirements for documentation and records
