Additional Educator - OOSH

About the role

BFS Children's Services is hiring an Additional Educator for its OOSH centre in Albion Park. The role is rostered Monday to Wednesday at 3 hours per day, on a maximum term, part-time basis until January 2027. It involves providing quality education and care to children and contributing to the planning of educational programs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide quality education and care to all children
• Contribute to planning educational programs that support a child's learning and help them meet their goals
• Build strong relationships with children, families and the community

Required profile

• A cleared valid NSW Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
• A cleared National Criminal Record Check
• Commitment to keeping children safe and to cultural safety for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families
• Completion of the National Child Safety Training Foundation Course
• Two referees, one of whom must be a manager or supervisor at your current or most recent workplace
• A fun-loving attitude and dedication to improving the lives of children, families and the community
