Additional Educator - BFS Albion Park OOSH

About the role

BFS Children's Services is hiring an Additional Educator for its Albion Park Out-of-School Hours Care (OOSH) centre. The position is part-time, rostered Monday to Friday at 5 hours per day, on a maximum term until January 2027. The educator creates happy, healthy relationships between children and the people in their lives, bringing fun, laughter and play to each day.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to planning educational programs that support a child's learning and help them meet their goals
• Build strong relationships with children, families and the community

Required profile

• A commitment to keeping children in care safe and healthy
• Dedication to improving the lives of children, families and the community
• A fun-loving attitude and a big smile
• Clear valid NSW Working with Children's Check (WWCC) and a cleared National Criminal Record Check
• Commitment to cultural safety for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families
• Completion of the National Child Safety Training Foundation Course
• Two referees, one of whom must be a manager or supervisor at your current or most recent workplace
