Acting Support Coordinator - NDIS Leave Coverage

About the role

This is an acting Support Coordinator position based in Longreach, Queensland, providing leave coverage from 9 November 2026 to 11 December 2026 in a casual capacity. The role works closely with participants to help them navigate the NDIS and get the most out of their plans.

Key responsibilities

• Support and empower participants to make their own choices about how they want to live their lives
• Coordinate a variety of services so participants can live fulfilling lives in the community
• Engage with and manage key stakeholders such as government agencies, community and clinical service providers and families, ensuring supports are used and not duplicated
• Work with participants to strengthen their ability to coordinate their own supports

Required profile

• Working knowledge of the NDIS (desirable)
• Certificate IV in Mental Health (desirable)
• Current minimum P1 "C" class Queensland driver's licence and a registered, roadworthy, fully insured vehicle
• First Aid and CPR certificates (ability to obtain)
• Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) (ability to obtain)
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (ability to obtain)
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety & You'
