Accounts Receivable Officer

About the role

Join Miele's Finance team in Hawthorn East as an Accounts Receivable Officer. You will partner with customers, business partners and internal stakeholders to manage accounts, minimise financial risk and deliver exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding payments while maintaining positive relationships.
• Resolve account queries, payment disputes and credit issues through proactive communication.
• Complete account reconciliations, credit adjustments and returns processing.
• Monitor credit risk and support credit reviews to minimise financial exposure.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service and Finance teams to improve cash‑flow outcomes.

Required profile

• Previous experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control or a similar finance role.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities with a customer‑focused approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working with ERP/financial systems such as SAP.
