Accountant – Group Finance (Adelaide)

About the role

Join Perilya Limited’s finance team in Adelaide and support group financial reporting for a global mining business. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will work across Australian and international operations, gaining exposure to multi‑entity consolidation, statutory reporting and budgeting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reports, journal entries, reconciliations and support month‑end close.
• Assist with group consolidations across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
• Contribute to half‑year and annual statutory financial reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis activities.
• Handle GST, FBT, payroll tax and other compliance obligations.
• Prepare audit working papers and liaise with external and internal auditors.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders in Adelaide, Broken Hill and the Dominican Republic.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualification (or actively pursuing).
• 2‑3 years of accounting experience with strong month‑end accounting exposure.
• Experience working with an ERP system, preferably Pronto.
• Background in multi‑entity or complex corporate environments, ideally with multi‑jurisdiction exposure.
• Proficiency in Excel and a keen eye for accurate, detail‑oriented work.
