Accountant – Corporate Finance Team

About the role

Minor Hotels Australasia is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Accountant to join its Corporate Finance team. This role offers an emerging accounting professional the chance to develop technical skills while supporting a diverse portfolio of hotel and property operations across Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable and produce debtor reports.
• Support month‑end and year‑end financial processes, including reconciliations and statutory reporting.
• Prepare financial schedules and assist with tax, insurance and compliance requirements.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to provide finance support and resolve queries.
• Contribute to process‑improvement initiatives and special projects.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Intermediate Microsoft Excel.
• Confidence working with financial systems.
