Accountant – Accounting and Taxation

About the role

Cutcher & Neale is looking for Accountants to join its Accounting and Taxation teams. You will work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients, supporting the delivery of high-quality accounting and advisory services, and will be supported to grow into a confident, client-facing professional.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, tax returns and compliance work for a range of clients
• Support the delivery of advisory services and assist with client queries
• Work across companies, trusts, partnerships and unit trusts
• Collaborate with senior team members to deliver high-quality outcomes
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and add value to clients
• Ensure work is accurate and completed within required timeframes
• Stay up to date with relevant legislation, systems and best practices

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Accounting or similar
• Around 2-3 years' experience in a public practice accounting firm of a similar size
• Progressing towards or completing CA qualifications
• Experience preparing work for companies, trusts, partnerships and unit trusts
• Exposure to a variety of industries and client types
