Account Manager – Logistics Sales

About the role

This position offers a fantastic opportunity for a driven, proactive individual to launch a career in logistics sales with a global freight and logistics leader. Working alongside the Sales Manager, you will focus on new business development and account growth across the Sydney territory while supporting smooth customer onboarding and long‑term retention.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and contact prospective customers to generate new, profitable sales.
• Assess customer needs and match them to the right products and services.
• Build and grow a portfolio of new and existing accounts.
• Create and deliver sales presentations, bids and proposals; follow up quotes to close business.
• Accurately capture and maintain all activities, opportunities and customer information in the CRM.
• Work with internal stakeholders to support successful implementation and handover of new business.

Required profile

• Sales‑focused with excellent negotiation and people skills.
• B2B sales experience or strong transferable customer‑facing experience.
• Goal‑oriented, resilient and motivated to drive results.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and eager to learn.
• Confident using CRM systems and maintaining accurate records.
