Account Manager

About the role

Expeditors is seeking an experienced, commercially focused Account Manager to join its Melbourne team. You will develop and grow relationships with key customers, driving revenue and ensuring long‑term partnership success.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers across multiple organisational levels.
• Create and communicate strategic business plans aligned with customer and Expeditors goals.
• Identify business development opportunities and manage the sales pipeline to drive revenue growth.
• Understand customers' supply chains and introduce value‑added solutions using Expeditors' services and technology.
• Prepare and deliver effective customer business reviews and monitor performance against KPIs.
• Coordinate with local and global operational teams to ensure alignment on customer requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Expeditors or a similar logistics environment.
• Proven business development and relationship‑building experience.
• Full and unrestricted working rights in Australia.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of logistics products and services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM software.
• Strong communication, presentation and analytical abilities.
