Account Manager

About the role

As an Account Manager you will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of Tier 1, 2 and 3 clients in the residential and medium‑density building sector, guiding them from initial enquiry through to project delivery. The role is relationship‑driven, focused on building long‑term partnerships and ensuring projects are delivered accurately, on time and to client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Build and nurture client relationships while growing revenue across Intrax’s operational areas.
• Collaborate with operations and delivery teams to align on work scope and meet client deadlines.
• Develop growth plans by matching Intrax’s strengths to customer needs.
• Maintain up‑to‑date CRM data and pipelines, proactively managing opportunities.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to build lasting, values‑aligned relationships.
• Excellent organisation and time‑management skills, able to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Negotiation and influencing abilities.
• At least 1 year of experience in residential construction (customer service, estimating, drafting, contracts administration or related areas).
• Exposure to residential engineering is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using databases and CRM systems.
