About the role

Join Telstra Business Sales as an Account Manager, supporting small and medium business customers with technology solutions and building strong, lasting relationships.

Key responsibilities

  • Implement segment and portfolio strategies, including outbound call campaigns, to retain and grow customer portfolios.
  • Manage inbound and outbound sales and service contracts, resolve queries, and escalate complex issues as needed.
  • Develop and maintain account and portfolio plans to achieve revenue, profitability and NPS targets.
  • Collaborate with field sales, internal Telstra teams and partners to identify and qualify leads.

Required profile

  • Minimum 2 years experience in retail or sales call centre environments.
  • Proven performance in ICT or telecommunications sales, with strong understanding of SMB needs.
  • Demonstrated ability in both cold and warm outreach and relationship building.
  • Open to coaching and committed to continuous learning.

Required skills

  • Commercial awareness of how technology supports business operations.
  • Effective communication and follow‑through skills.
