Account Manager - Foodservice

About the role

An award-winning foodservice supplier is recruiting an Account Manager (Area Sales Manager) for a high-profile NSW territory covering Sydney's Northern Beaches, North Shore and Central Coast, which has delivered 156% growth. Reporting to the State Manager, you will protect and accelerate the territory's momentum, expand the customer base and increase share of wallet across existing accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with executive chefs, venue managers, procurement teams and key decision-makers across hotels, restaurants, pubs, clubs, cafes and catering businesses.
• Showcase new product innovations and run product demonstrations, tastings and cook-ups.
• Identify new business opportunities and work with customers to develop solutions that deliver culinary and commercial value.

Required profile

• Sales or account management experience in foodservice, hospitality, FMCG or a related B2B environment.
• Track record of territory growth, new business development and expanding existing accounts.
• Ability to engage executive chefs, venue managers and senior decision-makers and to present and demonstrate products.
• Genuine passion for food and the hospitality industry.

• Salary of $100,000 - $110,000 plus superannuation and a bonus up to $30,000.
