Account Manager - Food & Beverage (Health & Wellness)

About the role

Brenntag is looking for an Account Manager in Melbourne to manage a portfolio of customers and grow business in the Food and Beverage sector, with a focus on Health and Wellness such as sports nutrition and functional foods. The role covers the VIC, SA and WA regions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage existing customers and develop new customer relationships
• Identify and pursue new product and market opportunities to grow business and market share
• Achieve sales targets using digital and face-to-face channels for allocated products
• Drive cross-selling, range-selling and value-based pricing to increase gross profit and product portfolio
• Identify high-potential accounts and convert prospects, following sales protocols to generate leads and raise conversion rates
• Use call planning, pipeline management and lead qualification to run proactive sales calls and monitor performance
• Raise customer awareness of the right products and product options
• Join joint visits with managers and principals as required
• Liaise with internal stakeholders such as Sales Team, Product Management, Customer Service and Supply Chain to find the best solution for each customer
• Submit accurate forecasts and forecast updates on time and manage pricing strategies including contracts, pricing agreements, renewals and negotiations
