Account Manager – Equipment Hire Solutions

About the role

Onsite Rental Group is seeking a motivated Account Manager to join its Gladstone branch. You will work closely with the Sales & Business Development Team Leader and the broader branch team to grow existing accounts and capture new business across a diverse equipment‑hire portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and expand the current customer base within the assigned territory.
• Identify, pursue and convert new sales opportunities in line with business plans.
• Conduct regular cold‑calling and field visits to raise awareness of Onsite’s product range.
• Build strong relationships with customers, attending events, trade shows and conferences.
• Prepare accurate hire quotes and support tender submissions.
• Collaborate with the branch team to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Keep client information up‑to‑date in the CRM system.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience in hire, capital equipment, industrial or related sectors.
• Willingness and ability to conduct cold calls, both in person and by phone.
• Demonstrated success in acquiring and retaining new business.
• Ability to work safely and autonomously in the field.
• Resilience, problem‑solving mindset and strong interpersonal skills.
