Account Manager – Corporate Travel (Perth)

About the role

As an Account Manager within Flight Centre Travel Group’s corporate arm, you will be responsible for driving profitability, retention and growth for large, strategic, multinational clients across the travel sector. You will work closely with senior executives to deliver value‑led travel programmes and influence strategic direction.

Key responsibilities

• Drive customer profitability, growth and retention across strategic global accounts.
• Identify opportunities for value‑added sales, service adoption and commercial expansion.
• Conduct profit‑and‑loss reviews and ensure commercial agreements are met.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with C‑suite stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal operations, finance and technology teams to deliver service excellence.
• Lead strategic conversations to influence customer programmes and business decisions.
• Recommend and implement new products and services to drive innovation.
• Develop and execute customer business plans aligned to client goals.
• Analyse customer data and trends to uncover insights and improvement opportunities.
• Utilise CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to manage communications and track activities.
• Manage key customer projects with clear stakeholder communication.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in account management.
• Proven success managing large, strategic or multinational customers.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience managing customer profitability.
• Ability to build executive‑level relationships.
• Experience working with cross‑functional and global teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Strong project management capability.
• Travel industry experience preferred.
