Account Manager - Commercial HVAC QLD

About the role

Daikin Australia is looking for an Account Manager to join its Sales team in Murarrie, Queensland, supporting the commercial channel. Reporting to the Sales Manager – Commercial, the role helps drive business for Daikin's commercial customers.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an extensive customer base of Daikin dealers, commercial contractors and trade accounts.
• Develop new customer accounts and improve existing ones to grow business.
• Work with the sales team to meet project and quote requirements.
• Negotiate to achieve budget while keeping the best outcome for Daikin and the customer, within Daikin pricing and credit structures.
• Keep up project knowledge through regular customer follow-ups, site visits and obtaining builders' schedules.

Required profile

• Previous sales experience in HVAC solutions or in Technical Sales Support is highly advantageous.
• Good understanding of sales cycles and the ability to apply sales strategies.
• Ability to interpret technical designs and turn them into product solutions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with internal and external customers.
• Motivated, resilient and able to handle complex projects in a fast-paced, competitive market.
