Account Growth Manager – NSW

About the role

Join Zip’s Account Growth team to drive revenue and customer acquisition for a portfolio of strategic merchant partners across New South Wales. You will blend commercial strategy with hands‑on relationship management, helping merchants maximise performance, adopt Zip solutions and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Own growth, retention and performance of assigned merchant accounts, creating and executing account plans that deliver revenue and long‑term success.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders from frontline staff to senior leadership.
• Identify and act on growth opportunities, negotiate commercial initiatives and partnership deals.
• Deliver face‑to‑face training, coaching and ongoing support to ensure merchant confidence and compliance.
• Conduct regular business reviews, share performance insights and recommend actions.
• Analyse merchant data to uncover sales, experience and product‑adoption improvements.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Legal and Customer Experience teams.
• Represent Zip in the field, manage escalations and uphold governance, compliance and risk standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in account management, commercial partnerships or field sales, preferably within payments or fintech.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Data‑driven mindset with the ability to translate performance metrics into actionable plans.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Willingness to travel regularly across NSW and work in a hybrid environment.
