Account Director, Maritime

About the role

The Account Director – Maritime will lead Anduril’s customer engagement for the Dive‑XL program in Australia, acting as the primary voice of the Royal Australian Navy and related Commonwealth stakeholders within the product organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow relationships with the RAN, Naval Shipbuilding and Sustainment Group, Defence Science and Technology Group and other Commonwealth departments.
• Provide operational context to product and engineering teams, translating threat assessments and customer intent into the Dive‑XL roadmap.
• Support a disciplined cadence of briefings, capability forums, working groups and demonstrations in both classified and unclassified settings.
• Partner with Growth, Global Defence, Programs, Contracts and Legal to shape capture opportunities and align Australian pursuits with international campaigns.

Required profile

• Extensive Royal Australian Navy warfare experience, preferably with submarine or principal warfare officer background.
• Proven experience in capability management, force design or requirements development within the Defence acquisition process.
• Established senior‑level network across Navy, Defence and the Australian undersea enterprise.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to audiences ranging from engineers to flag officers.
• Familiarity with the ASDEFCON framework and Commonwealth market approaches.

Required skills

• Technical literacy in autonomy systems, mission systems and payload integration for undersea vehicles.
• Ability to engage substantively in trade‑off discussions on autonomy behaviours and payload performance.
