Wholesale Cruise Advisor

About the role

CruiseHQ is Flight Centre Travel Group's B2B cruise wholesale division, which curates and delivers tailor-made cruise packages and integrates air, land and sea travel. The Wholesale Cruise Advisor sells cruise holidays, including packages to travel agents, across all channels and makes bookings while proactively generating leads, repeat business and referrals. The role supports the brand's sales operations to meet growth targets.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with travel agents and help them plan clients' trips, including cruises, flights, accommodation, tours, activities and transfers
• Quote, book and invoice cruise bookings and packages
• Meet KPIs such as service levels and abandoned call rates
• Meet monthly sales targets and maximise sales through upselling and cross-selling
• Handle telephone enquiries efficiently and accurately, and monitor mailboxes daily
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date booking notes so anyone can follow the actions taken on a booking or quote
• Support groups by helping with group bookings when required
• Give feedback to streamline processes

Required profile

• Retail or wholesale experience in the travel industry is essential
• A passion for the cruise industry and customer service
• Proven experience in a customer service environment working towards sales targets

Required skills

• Comprehensive computer skills and the ability to learn new systems
• GDS experience preferred, not essential
